An incredible opportunity to join the Fearless team and work on sponsorship activation & rights management for a Global Ecommerce client with an extensive sponsorship portfolio across European Football.  The enviable sponsorship properties include AC Milan, Crystal Palace, Ajax, AFC Bournemouth, Atletico de Madrid + 3 other clubs yet to be publicly announced so if you have a dream to work in European football sponsorship & activation then keep reading.

We’re looking for a smart, inspiring and ambitious SENIOR ACCOUNT MANAGER with a real passion for sport and in particular football. The ideal candidate comes from a sports marketing, sponsorship, Sports PR or sports creative agency.

The successful candidate will be a strong all-rounder, taking a strategic and organised approach to their day to day. They will have recent sponsorship and rights management experience and have led the management and delivery of complex rights programmes for their clients. They will feel equally comfortable operating in digital and social channels alongside ticketing, talent and athlete management, prizes and merchandise and love the idea of visiting football clubs across Europe to support in the successful delivery of hospitality.

They will also be well versed in working alongside creative, content and production teams to plan, manage and execute creative activation campaigns around a sponsorship property keeping a very close eye on timings and project plans and budgets being committed to 3rd party expenses.

They will be meticulous about getting work done on time, on budget and to a standard that exceeds our clients’ expectations and holding something of an obsession for a finely tuned project plan and an entrepreneurial spirit to make it all happen.

Working into the Senior Account Director the Senior Account Manager will take the lead on day-to-day Client Services, Rights Management and delivery of activations across 4 of the 8 European football clubs in our contract and will work closely with creative and production teams throughout the 2024/2025 football season.

The SAM will also be responsible for the day-to-day management of an account executive supporting them across the 4 clubs so we will be looking for candidates to share their previous leadership experiences.


This role will primarily work as a key member of the Partnerships team working on our Ecommerce client across European football sponsorship activation.  The SAM is accountable for successful and efficient delivery of all work streams related to 4 x football Club sponsorships.

Core workstreams which this role will be involved with:

·      Rights management and delivery across 4 x European Football clubs

·      Acting as the main liaison for the Clubs and developing an intimate knowledge of the rights secured, their team and working practises.

·      The go-to-person for the sponsorship rights for their respective Clubs, ensuring all activations are not only compliant but maximised to full potential.

·      Overall lead for the ticketing management for 4 x European Football clubs

·      Attending in person the key focus moments across the year (e.g. Player appearances, VIP hosting)

·      Client and key stakeholder communications and project management ensuring all status sheets and timings plans are maintained and up to date, agendas for meetings created and shared, writing briefing documents, onboarding teams and suppliers, agency finance support and responding to client & clubs requests.

·      The SAM will need to be proactive, commercially minded, entrepreneurial, thinking on behalf of the client and identifying new opportunities to make the most of the rights available.

·      Working alongside agency producers and the creative team you will support the coordination of player shoots and photography, postproduction of content and creative and fulfilling ad-hoc market requests.

·      You will also be responsible for client merchandise fulfilment collaborating with the clubs and client.

·      Support in building strong relationships with client and clubs and fostering a good team spirit internally and across all business units.

·       Social media platform and format understanding

·       Strong communication skills, verbal and written

·       Creative (Video) production experience working with creative teams, producers and 3rd party production partners

·       Event or hospitality planning

·       Previous experience activating sponsorship campaigns in European markets (Italy, Spain) is a plus

Foreign languages (Spanish, Italian) is a plus
